About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives within Technology
  • Build and maintain optimized and highly available data pipelines
  • Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational or technical challenges
  • Oversee the data integration work
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet data engineering deliverables
  • Collaborate and consult with colleagues and managers to resolve data engineering issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of Data Engineering experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Apache Spark
  • 4+ years of experience with ETL(Ab Initio/Informatica/Data Stage)
  • 4+ years of experience with DBMS(Teradata/SQL Server)
  • 4+ years of experience with Java/Python/Scala
  • 3+ years of Teradata experience
  • 3+ years of Unix experience
  • 2+ years of Data Engineering experience using Cloud Technologies, preferably with GCP – Google Cloud
  • 2+ years of AI technology implementations
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile methodology
  • 2+ years of experience using Database Tools: Teradata, Load / Unload Utilities, Big Query
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced SQL experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills using power query
  • Technical application support experience
