About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in performing financial research, underwriting, and structuring of highly complex private banking relationships
Review and research business financial statements and tax returns that require an in-depth evaluation
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team to meet project deliverables
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Lead projects and teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
MBA (Finance /Banking), Cost and Management Accountancy, Chartered Accountancy or post-graduation in Economics preferred
Good knowledge on financial statements for various industries with ability to ascertain trends, ratios and call out key risks when compared to benchmarks
Working knowledge of Discounted Cash Flow, Comparable Company, and Precedent Transaction analysis
Working experience with Moody’s Risk Analytics is a plus
Excellent communication skills, with special focus on business writing skills for credit reports
Ability to read, comprehend and synthesize data regarding borrower performance / market related information from multiple sources into one prescribed template.
