About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Be responsible for independently working with clients and handling complex transactions
  • Have well-developed knowledge of products and services, marketplace, and clients
  • Be directly involved in the origination, structuring, and execution of Corporate and Investment Banking products and services for existing clients and prospects
  • Assist in delivering the full range of products and services to clients through formulating financial strategy and policy with clients at the executive management level, managing client relationships, and executing mandated assignments in Bank, Institutional and High Yield capital markets
  • Collaborate and consult with Investment Banking Coverage, Corporate and Commercial Banking partners
  • Manage Analysts and Associates on deal and pitch teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Prior investment banking experience including Leveraged Finance product coverage
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of business development: business vision, strategies, and goals
  • A Master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics or related fields
  • Strong credit skills
  • Strong knowledge of debt capital markets
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
