About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the activities of a subset of the DI Credit Execution Team responsible for pre-closing and post-closing tasks associated with facilitating corporate credit processing.
- Assist in managing the allocation of resources to support credit onboarding activities.
- Aid in making decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of the DI Credit Execution team.
- Partner with loan closing/funding operations and servicing team to develop strong working relationships and resolve booking issues.
- Collaborate and consult with CIBLO peers and multiple level managers.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and Wells Fargo rules, policies, and regulations.
- Collaborate extensively with Portfolio Management, Delivery Consultants, Control, Compliance, and Risk teams.
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised procedures, policies, controls and guidelines.
- Support the management of various reports, remediation efforts and other ancillary projects as needs arise.
- Manage and develop a team of individual contributor roles.
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Knowledge of and experience in Credit, Counterparty, Treasury Management, and Trade products.
- Sound understanding of documentation and corporate loan structures, specifically with outside counsel prepared credit documents.
- Strong knowledge/experience in compliance, regulations, credit policy & processes and risk policy.
- Knowledge of syndications, including agented and member deals.
- Knowledge of nCino, Loan IQ, CoRS, TRE, ICMP and PowerBI systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills and capacity to evaluate situations from a broader perspective.
- Team player, willing to fill in on various initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to work with all levels of management and have presence to interact with senior leaders.
- Strong organizational skills with focus on tactical implementation.
