Key responsibilities & impact

Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise
Translate advanced technology experience and an in-depth knowledge of the organization's tactical and strategic business objectives into technical engineering solutions
Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of Engineering experience
5+ years of experience in designing and building scalable Java-based microservices and cloud-native applications
5+ years of experience deploying real-time ML inference pipelines processing millions of records at high throughput
3+ years of experience in the financial services industry
2+ years of experience building production AI
Strong expertise Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs
Strong expertise Microservices architecture and distributed systems design
Experience with event-driven and streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka, Azure Stream Analytics, or Google Cloud Dataflow
Strong knowledge of Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Neo4j, Redis)
Experience with Apache Spark using Java/Scala/Python
Excellent verbal, written, and stakeholder communication skills
Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps practices
Working know-how and familiarity with Gen AI tools and frameworks.
