About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a trusted advisor to independent business owners, providing guidance on practice growth, client segmentation, staffing, and long-term strategy
- Drive advisor engagement, retention, and growth across a defined territory within the Northeast Division
- Consult on business-building opportunities, helping advisors deepen client relationships and expand their capabilities
- Identify risks and opportunities within advisor practices and mobilize internal resources to improve outcomes
- Act as the voice of the advisor, influencing internal partners and shaping how the firm delivers value to the independent channel
- Lead in-market engagement, including one-on-one practice consulting and small group discussions
- Partner across the firm (Recruiting, Marketing, Product, Risk, and Leadership) to deliver a cohesive advisor experience
- Contribute to divisional growth initiatives, including advisor forums and strategic programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of Business Growth Strategy experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience working with independent financial advisors in the IBD or RIA space
- Strong business consulting and practice management expertise
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence at the executive/owner level
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage a broad territory and multiple priorities
- Series 7 and 66 licenses, or ability to obtain within 180 days
