About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a Systems Operations team of analysts responsible for monitoring installed systems and infrastructure
- Engage with stakeholders and internal partners across the Systems Operations functional area
- Identify and recommend opportunities to increase system efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Make decisions and resolve issues related to operating systems, application software, and system management tools to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with compliance and risk management requirements
- Collaborate and consult with analysts, Information Technology partners, and external vendors
- Manage and support mid‑ to highly experienced analysts
- Allocate people and financial resources for Systems Operations
- Mentor and guide the development of direct reports and support hiring activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Systems Engineering and Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
