About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a subject matter expert to guide, influence, develop, retain, and grow moderate to high complex and strategic client relationships
- Manage and develop two or more teams of managers and professionals in Commercial Banking
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources
- Strategically lead team in driving relationship planning activities
- Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide vision, leadership, and expertise
- Lead relationship management team to support Business Development Representatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10 + years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management or leadership experience
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services
- Completion of formal credit training program
- Commercial banking account relationship management experience for clients with annual revenue of $25MM to $2B
- Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships
- Experience developing and maintaining external and internal partnerships
- Experience identifying and mitigating risk
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
