Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead complex initiatives including those that provide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teams
  • Develop and execute customer experience solutions for Wells Fargo's app and website
  • Apply emerging AI‑enhanced workflows to accelerate ideation, execution, and quality of design output
  • Oversee the execution of projects that influence design and strategic direction of the company
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
  • Serve as design advocate with the ability to forecast and assess industry trends and their impact on the company's product design alternatives
  • Provide product usability, evaluation, and support to product development teams
  • Lead customer experience strategy for platforms and products
  • Influence roadmaps and business decisions by providing customer experience considerations and participate in roadmap planning and virtual teams
  • Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Online and Digital Product Design, Information Sciences, Graphic, and Visual Arts experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Hands-on experience designing UX and UI in Figma
  • Exceptional visual design skills showcasing your ability to solve for complex problems in a delightful way
  • Comfort presenting to all levels of seniority
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to shape and drive work independently
  • Understanding of front-end development fundamentals (HTML/CSS concepts, responsive design) to facilitate cross-functional partnership and tech-informed designs
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn and adapt as AI and emerging capabilities reshape how we design products
  • Ability to clearly articulate a strong design rationale; storytelling skills that compel stakeholders
  • Experience with customer facing content design
