About the role

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership for IBM DataPower and API gateway implementations
  • Guide engineers through complex DataPower and API gateway troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident resolution
  • Own end-to-end delivery of DataPower and API gateway initiatives, from intake through deployment and stabilization
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC controls, testing standards, CI/CD processes, and release gates
  • Partner with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure stable, resilient, and compliant platform operations

Requirements

  • 4+ years of overall software engineering experience
  • 4+ years of development or managing IBM DataPower or similar API products experience
  • 2+ years of experience with messaging and integration technologies, such as IBM MQ and Kafka
  • 2+ years of experience working with network components, including load balancers, firewalls, and proxies
  • 2+ years of Leadership experience
