About the role
- Lead or participate in reviewing implementation of network security policies across network infrastructure and applications.
- Monitor production network patch and vulnerability health including Internet Protocol backbone, data centers and edge pops across the globe
- Ensure the continuous availability of all data network services
- Identify gaps, risks and issues and navigate organizational structure to resolve them
- Perform regular proactive network monitoring to ensure proper functioning and reliability of the network
- Apply knowledge of security and regulatory policies to monitor sound practices in design and implementation of foolproof secured network solutions
- Provide resolution information and work with other teams to complete impact analysis
- Deliver support to engineering teams during change management review and approval process
- Partner cross-functionally with other Product Infrastructure teams in order to continuously improve and apply standards and policies relevant to operational excellence
Requirements
- Minimum of 4+ years network engineering experience
- Network Engineering Experience – experience deploying and configuring network infrastructure assets.
- IT Asset Management Experience – understanding of hardware lifecycle, vulnerabilities published for the assets.
- Data Analytics – experience in collecting and analyzing data, using tools like Microsoft Excel to parse and triage data.
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience Vulnerability Management - working in security vulnerability and patch management.
