About the role

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex enterprise applications
  • Drive the implementation of large-scale Fraud Detection and prevention platforms, and integration with various downstream applications.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and system design.
  • Be the SME for the voice Fraud platform which includes third party platforms
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of all developed systems.
  • Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk
  • Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature
  • Mentor less experienced software engineers
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+years of designing, developing, and testing large-scale systems preferably in a financial services environment
  • 3+ years of experience in financial and fraud prevention systems and integration
  • Voice fraud detection experience
  • Excellent communication skill both verbal and written
  • Strong Python/Java development skills, particularly in financial systems
  • Strong understanding of how Fraud prevention and detection systems work in a large financial and banking systems
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and building large-scale, distributed systems.
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture, system integration, and design patterns.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the architecture, design, and development of high-performance, low-latency Java applications, as well as overseeing the implementation of large-scale data ingestion pipelines and real-time analytics platforms.
  • Experience leveraging Generative AI technologies to enhance application functionality, improve fraud detection capabilities, or optimize development workflows.
