About the role

  • Serve as the day-to-day digital communications lead and key advisor for designated lines of business
  • Deliver end-to-end campaign management, acting as the central point of coordination for all stakeholders
  • Develop and implement multichannel digital strategies leveraging the full spectrum of Wells Fargo’s digital ecosystem to reach and engage customers, employees, and communities effectively
  • Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring all created content is updated and accurately reflected
  • Build business cases for paid advertising amplification; manage budget allocations for paid campaigns
  • Draft creative briefs and oversee timelines, asset delivery, and stakeholder reviews
  • Partner with editorial, creative, and video teams to produce compelling content and ensure timely publication
  • Coordinate legal and compliance reviews for all content
  • Publish approved content across Wells Fargo channels using compliance-approved tools
  • Monitor engagement, partner with engagement team for response strategies, and escalate reputational risks
  • Analyze campaign performance, create recap reports, and provide insights for optimization
  • Collaborate with marketing, IT, customer service, and other stakeholders for cohesive communication efforts

Requirements

  • 5+ years of public relations, media relations, or corporate communications experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Deep understanding of communications in a digital landscape, including web, mobile, and social platforms
  • Experience with digital communications tools, platforms, and analytics
  • Strong storytelling and content development skills with exceptional writing ability
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on execution, speed, and impact
  • Ability to provide white-glove service and act as the quarterback for all campaigns, ensuring seamless execution across channels
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams, including editorial, creative, and video production partners
  • Demonstrated experience or foundational knowledge in the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in generative AI technologies and platforms, and ability to leverage these technologies to create innovative solutions, enhance content creation, and drive business outcomes
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, or related field
