Conduct in-depth analysis using historical performance data to evaluate current strategies and shape future initiatives.
Leverage trend analysis, segmentation, and scenario modeling to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
Review and enhance complex programming models by extracting and transforming large datasets.
Apply statistical and financial modeling techniques tailored to the needs of supported business lines, ensuring accuracy and scalability.
Lead the development of executive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into account-level and portfolio-level profitability.
Drive strategic decisions in product profitability, data modeling, and risk exposure by applying a deep understanding of business objectives, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with senior leaders and partners across Finance, Product, Risk, and Analytics for accurate and reliable assessment of profitability projects.
Lead high-impact projects and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence, continuous learning, and collaboration.
Provide guidance on technical development, business acumen, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of hands-on experience with SAS/SQL/Python, leveraging these tools to analyze large-scale datasets and extract actionable insights
BA/B degree or higher in a quantitative field, Statistics, Engineering, Physics or Economics, Computer Science.
4+ years’ experience in banking cash flow modeling
Experience in financial concepts and methodologies (NPV, ROA, ROE, and RWA)
Prior experience with lending, and deposits
Experience with Excel, specifically nested formulas, arrays, and VBA.
Experience with statistical packages and time series forecasting techniques
Desire to drive process improvements to enhance business outcomes
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
