About the role
- Responsible to oversee all accounting transactions including: the company general ledger transaction records for compliance and accuracy
- Confirm financial status by monitoring/preparing the financial statements of the company
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close
- Support budget and forecasting activities
- Collaborates with other department managers to support overall department goals
Requirements
- Will hold a BA or BS in Accounting
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and cost accounting
- 10 years of progressive experience with costing, general ledger and operational analyses
- Proven experience in driving process improvement
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent project management abilities
- MS Office and ERP system proficiency required
