About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor portfolio positioning, performance, and risk exposures to ensure investment integrity.
- Contribute to the development of new investment strategies and client solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
- Evaluate product overlap, capacity trends, and pricing dynamics.
- Prepare white papers and presentation materials to differentiate portfolios.
- Participate in client, prospect, and consultant meetings to communicate investment philosophy and performance.
- Collaborate with investment teams, the Client Group, and other functional areas.
- Integrate AI tools into workflows to enhance efficiency and insight generation.
- Support business management initiatives including risk oversight and internal issue resolution.
- Represent the product team with professionalism and clarity in high-stakes environments.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–7+ years of industry experience, preferably in a relevant capacity.
- MBA and/or CFA preferred.
- Familiarity with securitized products, including Agency MBS, RMBS, CMBS, ABS, and CLOs, is a meaningful advantage.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to frame issues and draw insights.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex fixed income topics clearly and effectively.
- Poise under pressure and strong presentation skills.
- Creative problem-solving and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Strong business judgment and intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Leadership skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to execution.
