About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as primary customer liaison throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct handover with sales team, lead kickoff meetings, and maintain comprehensive project plans
- Establish clear milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria aligned with contractual requirements
- Manage project scope, process change orders, and ensure proper approvals
- Coordinate with and manage manufacturing partners, cross-functional teams, subcontractors, subconsultants, and vendors to meet delivery commitments
- Keep leadership informed of project status, risks, and opportunities
- Conduct site visits with customers and vendors as needed
- Perform regular progress and financial reviews
- Ensure timely revenue recognition and milestone payment processing
- Safeguard the company's commercial and contractual interests
- Manage logistics coordination and shipping requirements
- Other duties may be assigned by management to meet business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of total experience
- 5+ years of dedicated project management experience within the electrical or rotating equipment industries, or large capital projects
- Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline preferred
- PMP certification is desired
