About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical assistance and engineering support to the manufacturing team
- Ensure the production process is efficient, cost-effective, and meets quality standards
- Collaborate with Engineering (design), quality, and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Optimize production processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain technical detailed documentation such as technical specifications/drawings and Bills of Material
- Analyze and improve panel design to enhance efficiency in production and cost reduction
- Develop templates/poka-yokes for production to increase productivity and ensure quality
- Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing environment
- Strong Knowledge of electrical panel design, assembly and testing process
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with SAP is a differential
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
