Manage the Company’s tax planning, compliance and income tax provision, including preparation and review of annual and quarterly income tax provision calculation and SEC financial statement disclosures
Prepare and review the Company’s quarterly effective tax rate forecast and modeling
Identify, analyze, and document uncertain tax positions
Manage federal, state and local tax compliance and coordinate internal teams and third-party advisors for timely and accurate filings
Prepare and/or review quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions
Coordinate Federal and state tax inquiries including examinations and audits with taxing authorities
Perform tax research, monitor legislative change, analyze and communicate impacts to the Company
Participate in US Federal and state tax planning projects to optimize tax profile and support business expansion, acquisitions, and integration planning
Collaborate cross-functionally within Finance and Legal and with the CFO
Drive continuous improvements of processes and procedures via technology solutions
Maintain and refine tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent is required
5+ years of corporate income tax experience in private or public industry
In-depth knowledge and experience in US GAAP and tax accounting (ASC 740)
Ability to conduct research using various resources and effectively communicate results
Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task
Strong organization and project management skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Master’s degree in Taxation or CPA preferred (bonus)
In-house public company experience preferred (bonus)
Experience with tax provision software a plus (bonus)
