About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work 1:1 with children ages two to nine diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders
- Implement natural environment teaching (NET) and discrete trial training (DTT)
- Follow directions from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Facilitate play and social interaction
- Design and conduct daily small-group activities
- Provide comprehensive early intensive behavioral intervention based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
- Participate in daily contact, ongoing supervision, and support from BCBA and BCaBA supervisors
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Prior experience working with ASD population is preferred
- Prior experience working with children is preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
- Ability to establish rapport with young clients
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 11:30a–6:30p, with team meetings Wednesdays at 11a
- RBT Certification for the higher pay rate is not required for the base role
