About the role
- Manage the GIS Consolidation project to standardize the company’s 3 GIS solutions into one implementation
- Coordinate and collaborate with work streams, projects, and architecture groups to support integrations and project delivery
- Work with GIS Operational teams and Project teams to deliver business processes, technology, and enabling tools
- Lead, prioritize, monitor and report on the Energy Delivery Program project portfolio
- Ensure projects are resourced, follow project management methodology, and achieve successful outcomes
- Provide leadership, direction, coaching, talent development, and succession planning
- Promote WEC Energy Group's vision, mission, values, and strategies
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or HSED
- 1+ years of experience in change management
- 1+ years of experience with process and quality management concepts, measures & statistical control
- 3+ years of experience in formal or informal leadership
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple simultaneous projects across departments, including projects exceeding $1M and six months in duration
- 5+ years of experience demonstrating ability in utilizing formal project management tools and methodology to successfully deliver projects
- 5+ years of experience working as a professional project manager as a primary responsibility
- Valid driver's license and meet the company's requirements for driving
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related degree
- Preferred: GIS experience
