About the role
- Establishes integration standards and provides leadership to the Enterprise Scheduling project team
- Liaison between the Enterprise Scheduling program and ViacomCBS EAI department
- Converts complex functional specifications into programming specifications
- Interfaces with business analysts, project managers, and customers to clarify requirements
- Analyzes, defines and documents requirements for a system
- Performs coding and/or configuration to meet documented needs
- Tests own and others work, contributes to test plans and participates in post-implementation reviews
- Coordinates with project groups to resolve systems issues and advance integration projects
- Conducts code reviews for quality and adherence to standards
Requirements
- 10 years+ integration experience preferred
- Technical expertise
- Expert in Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) paradigms and strategies
- Experience in one top tier ESB
- Expert in enterprise integration paradigms, patterns and designs
- Proficient in a major coding language
- Well versed in industry standard protocols and formats (e.g. RESTFul, SOAP, xml, json, AMQP, JMS, delimited, OAUTH)
- Proficient in Linux and Windows O/S
- Understands messaging principles and experience with a message bus
- Deep cloud experience – SaaS, PaaS, IaaS
- Proficient in SQL and understands basics of RDBMS and no-SQL models
