About the role
- Support business continuity and IT disaster recovery planning, testing and execution for Webster Bank
- Assist in planning and execution of enterprise disaster recovery tests to meet RTO and RPO objectives
- Create test scopes and document Test Plan Summaries outlining objectives, participation and logistics
- Coordinate with technology teams on application requirements and recovery plans for critical applications
- Interface with relationship teams and prepare client participation documents and communications
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive Post Test Summaries evaluating performance against objectives
- Review vendor Business Continuity Program documents and evaluate competency for critical IT risk vendors
- Provide evaluation feedback to business lines regarding vendor program acceptability
- Assist in development and maintenance of business continuity plans and conduct business impact assessments
- Assist with tabletop exercises and support day-to-day BCDR activities to ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements and bank policies, assist Managing Director of Resiliency
- Perform advanced weather planning to ensure resiliency and response during significant weather events
Requirements
- Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 2 to 4 years of related experience including IT Disaster Recovery planning and/or testing in a medium to large IT organization
- 2+ years working in large enterprise environments
- Banking Line of Business Experience is a plus
- CBCI or CBCP is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - both technical and non-technical
- Adherence to solid project management principals and structure
- Understanding on a broad level IT infrastructure, database, and application development and design
- Understanding of AWS or other Cloud based service topology
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, & Teams, and other productivity)
