About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyzing bank transactions, new accounts, and customer behavior to identify anomalous activity
Documenting findings and taking appropriate action to prevent losses
Acting as a point of escalation and assisting analysts with questions
Helping train new analysts and supporting them throughout their growth
Monitoring transactions across multiple delivery channels
Reviewing output of daily account warning reports
Mitigating identified potential fraud loss
Recommending closure of accounts deemed risky or suspicious
Maintaining accurate records
Making recommendations to management for updates to fraud prevention strategies
Providing internal support to retail personnel on issues concerning fraud and suspicious activity
Working with other lines of business to help with fraud training

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Experience in retail operations, wire/ACH, branch supervision, compliance, audit, investigation, law enforcement or related field
Strong analytic and computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
Ability to work independently in high volume environment with attention to detail
Ability to be flexible with work hours and daily workload requirements depending on need
Ability to work with teammates and help train new colleagues.
