About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and define the product backlog based on Business Cases (BC) that demonstrate the expected outcome of an idea/hypothesis to be prioritized in the Upstream/Discovery process and product detailing.
  • Manage the opportunity tree/backlog in synergy with the triad (Technology, Product, and Design).
  • Propose success OKRs associated with your product to guide the development backlog.
  • Support Product Discovery (hypothesis creation, user interviews, prototyping, etc.).
  • Perform refinement/creation of stories with company areas, leading and planning the entire process.
  • Manage and communicate product initiatives with stakeholder peers and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, CRM, Growth, Data, Support, Legal, Technology, etc.).
  • Ensure the product vision and priorities are aligned with all involved teams.
  • Lead inceptions, always seeking new solution opportunities.
  • Create, update, and maintain product business rules documentation.
  • Monitor the Downstream/development process end-to-end, ensuring that your hypothesis was well implemented and is delivering the expected results according to the BC.
  • Ensure the execution and deployment of the product according to requirements/stories, business rules, and defined deadlines.
  • Prioritize product evolution: fixes/bugs, foundation, and features together with the squad TLs.
  • Be the voice of the customer within the squads (visit customers, accompany the commercial team, follow insights from support teams).
  • Monitor competitors and the market to generate business insights and conduct benchmark studies.
  • Regularly track and manage dashboards: NPS, sales funnels, product indicators, and squad metrics (Upstream/Downstream, Throughput, Lead Time, Incidents, Story Points).
  • Organize and structure product materials for committees and other meetings.
  • Lead experiments to validate hypotheses, document learnings and evidence that can be useful for other solutions/products.
  • Communicate backlog updates to stakeholders.
  • Proactively report project/initiative progress under your leadership through Status Reports.

  • Proactivity and teamwork, especially within the triad of PM, PD, and Tech.
  • Proven prior experience as a Product Manager with products and services aimed at end consumers (B2B, B2C, C2C, C2B).
  • Be result-driven in delivery, not task-driven.
  • Ability to say no to many good ideas in order to serve customers while meeting business needs.
  • Preferred/excellent: Experience in the automotive market/companies in the automotive sector/rental companies.
  • Knowledge of concepts related to leads/advertising or prior experience in marketplaces.
  • Experience working with product management/creation.
  • Professional experience with digital products in technology companies.
