About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support end-to-end data migration efforts between legacy and target systems
Extract, map, transform, and load (ETL) data according to defined business and technical requirements
Document data mapping, transformation rules, and migration logic
Validate migrated data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency
Analyze and identify data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors in existing systems
Perform data cleanup activities to standardize and enrich datasets
Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring processes
Collaborate with business teams to define data standards and governance practices
Investigate and troubleshoot data discrepancies across systems
Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
Support ongoing data reconciliation and balancing activities
Create reports and dashboards to highlight data quality metrics
Work closely with IT, business analysts, and functional teams to understand data requirements
Translate business requirements into technical data specifications
Maintain clear documentation of data processes, definitions, and standards
Participate in testing cycles (UAT, system testing) related to data migration

Requirements

What you’ll need

2–6+ years of experience in data analysis, data migration, or data quality roles
Strong proficiency in SQL and data querying
Experience with data transformation and ETL processes
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, Business Central, Salesforce, SAP)
Familiarity with data tools (Power BI, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Dataverse, etc.)
Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
Experience working in system implementation or migration projects
