About the role
- Support manufacturing and prototyping initiatives for robotic products
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies
- Create and modify CAD models and technical drawings
- Support prototyping and testing, particularly using 3D printing technologies
- Collaborate with engineers to brainstorm, troubleshoot, and iterate on designs
- Maintain design documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Work on-site in Hayward, CA, and participate in real-world product development
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with CAD software (preferably OnShape or SolidWorks)
- Familiarity with 3D printing processes and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment
- Hands-on experience assembling or testing mechanical prototypes
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DfM) principles
- Exposure to other CAD platforms or simulation tools
Benefits
