About the role
- Own the design of battery or power distribution subsystems, including component selection, schematic design, and PCB layout
- Bring up and validate custom PCBAs for battery and charger systems
- Develop and execute test plans to verify requirements, derisk design changes, and ensure long-term reliability
- Design wiring harnesses and cables, including connector selection, wire specifications, and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Hands-on experience with PCB design and bring-up
- Strong understanding of power electronics, batteries, or power distribution systems
- Experience designing wiring harnesses and cables for electromechanical systems
- Track record of building, testing, and iterating on custom hardware
