About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Hunt new business opportunities in and around Cape Town.
- Prospect, develop and close sales of telematics solutions to large, medium and small companies.
- Source new sales leads via cold calling and prospecting.
- Develop and maintain a solid pipeline of prospects.
- Manage sales, training and customer relationships in Cape Town and elsewhere in South Africa if required.
- Support software partners in sales appointments where necessary.
- Achieve sales goals and report on sales opportunities in a timely manner.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven Sales record in the vehicle telematics / fleet management industry preferable.
- At least 3 years of successful experience in direct sales (B to B), ideally in a BtoB SaaS/IT company.
- Excellent listening, analytical, prioritization and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com is a plus but can be learned.
- Strong cold calling skills.
- Ability to manage the entire sales cycle independently.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
