About the role

  • Be a part of Cellular core implementation team.
  • Perform service/system testing, data collection, and optimization as required
  • Perform proactive monitoring of network elements’ KPI/ alarms and network performance analysis
  • Handle and analyze trouble tickets and provide solutions when necessary
  • Create and maintain network system documentation
  • Operational task and requests handling
  • Provide on-call 24 x 7 support on a rotating basis

Requirements

  • Complete familiarity with MNO/MVNO structure and flows, for Voice, SMS and Data scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of 3GPP standards across 2G/3G/4G and 5G including: Diameter/Radius MAP & Camel GTP / GTP-C SIP / IMS SMPP
  • Experience in analyzing network flows using raw data (traces/PCAP/etc.)
  • Understanding of roaming processes and procedures (IR.21, IREG / TADIG testing, familiarity with IPX operations).
  • Ability to design, scale and integrate a network element into a live network.
  • Hands-on experience in integration between network elements (SCTP, SIP trunk, SMPP connection)
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting roaming interfaces (S6a, S10, S8, CAMEL, MAP).
  • At least 5 years of practical experience as a core engineer.
  • Working understanding of APIs and basic scripting (Python or similar).
  • Familiarity with automated deployment tools such as Ansible, Terraform or K8s
  • Knowledge of OpenShift system administration and cloud technologies (AWS, VMware) - an advantage.
  • Knowledge of IP switching and routing protocol - an advantage.
