About the role
- Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for key platform domains, such as APIs, developer tooling, identity and access management, and core services, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with AI/ML teams to understand their needs and deliver the underlying platform infrastructure required for efficient model training, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for foundational platform areas. This includes gathering requirements from internal customers, writing detailed product specifications, prioritizing backlogs, and working hand-in-hand with engineering teams to ship high-quality products.
- Act as a key product leader and bridge between Engineering, AI/ML, Security, Data, and other product teams to ensure platform initiatives are tightly aligned with organizational needs and technical realities.
- Mentor other product managers and lead by influence, driving alignment and execution across multiple engineering squads and stakeholder groups without direct authority.
- Define and analyze metrics that measure the success of platform products. Clearly communicate your product's performance, value, and impact to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 4+ years focused on technical, platform, or infrastructure products.
- Demonstrated success in shipping and scaling secure, reliable platforms that power customer-facing products, preferably in an AI or fintech environment.
- Deep understanding of developer platforms, modern software architecture (e.g., microservices, APIs), data infrastructure, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Strong familiarity with the AI/ML product development lifecycle, model infrastructure, and MLOps principles.
- Exceptional ability to lead through influence, drive consensus among senior engineers and stakeholders, and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A product mindset balanced with strong technical fluency and a bias for action.
