About the role
- Take full ownership of social media portals with a sports-centric approach
- Develop and execute end-to-end social media campaigns from conceptualization to delivery and analysis
- Create engaging, sports-focused content using persuasive copy, visuals, and strong calls to action
- Leverage real-time football and sports events to boost engagement and relevance
- Monitor KPIs, run A/B tests, and identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve engagement, followers, and company conversion via social media
- Bring creative and innovative campaign ideas to resonate with sports-focused audience
Requirements
- Sports fanatic with experience in social media management
- Deep understanding of football and other major sports (especially English football)
- Ability to banter easily with top fans and create sports-focused content
- Understanding of sports betting is important
- Strong knowledge of major social platforms, trends, and best practices
- Experience in content planning, scheduling, and engagement strategies
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement data-driven optimizations
- Creativity, adaptability, and proactive mindset
- Previous experience in iGaming, sports betting, or online gaming (preferred)
- Full remote working offered through contractor agreement OR Hybrid working setup with a flexible work environment
- Company events in Malta organised and paid for by WIS for EU employees – twice a year
