Requirements

Current undergraduate student at **Edinburgh Napier University**, undertaking a third-year industrial placement as part of a computing related degree (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar).
Fundamental programming knowledge gained through university study, coursework, or personal projects.
Understanding of web technologies (such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) or a strong interest in web-based development.
Willingness to learn modern development frameworks, backend concepts, and cloud-based systems.
Familiarity with, or interest in learning, version control systems (e.g. git).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions and learn from feedback.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Exposure to JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks through coursework or personal projects.
Exposure to/experience of AI technologies and related development.
Awareness of Agile development methodologies.
Interest in full‑stack development, cloud platforms, or modern DevOps practices.
