About the role

  • Lead nationwide sales of patented canopy system components to installation firms, signage companies, fabricators, and specialty construction partners
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, buyers, and technical teams
  • Educate clients on the advantages of a no-weld, no-powder-coat system, including time and labor savings and operational efficiencies
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop a pipeline within the signage and specialty materials market
  • Consult with clients to understand project needs, provide technical guidance, and position solutions that optimize workflow and cost-effectiveness
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and technical presentations to negotiation and closing deals
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met and exceeded
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving client needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience selling raw materials, specialty components, or technical products to commercial or industrial clients
  • Prior experience selling to signage companies, fabricators, installation firms, or construction-adjacent businesses highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of how sophisticated materials are sourced, specified, and used in large-scale projects
  • Ability to translate technical features into tangible business value, including labor savings and operational efficiency
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a complex sales environment
  • Self-motivated and able to manage a nationwide, remote territory independently
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
