Develop and implement a comprehensive physical security strategy across all sites.
Conduct regular risk assessments and prioritize mitigation plans based on threat levels.
Participate in merger and acquisition security diligence to evaluate risks and integration requirements.
Ensure alignment of security initiatives with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Create and maintain standardized security policies, procedures, and protocols (e.g., visitor access, emergency response).
Communicate and enforce security standards across all locations.
Monitor compliance and update policies as needed based on evolving risks and regulations.
Manage relationships with third-party security vendors and systems integrators.
Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of access control and surveillance systems.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance physical security.
Develop and deliver employee security training and awareness programs.
Lead investigations into security incidents, coordinating with the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and law enforcement as necessary.
Implement corrective actions and lessons learned from incidents.
Prepare and manage the physical security budget, identifying cost-efficiency opportunities.
Serve as the internal subject matter expert on all physical security matters.
Provide guidance and support to leadership on security-related decisions and initiatives.

Requirements

BS in criminal justice, security management, or similar preferred
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or similar credential preferred
10+ years in corporate security or law enforcement roles
Demonstrated experience managing distributed office environments
Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Ability to effectively lead and manage diverse internal and external teams and resources
Strong attention to detail
Expertise with Microsoft Office and other software as required
Willingness to travel up to 50%
