About the role
- Manage and analyze Advisor Compensation Data Offerings
- Analyze advisor compensation data to report on behavior and trends, manage commissions data to provide accurate reporting at enterprise level.
- Independently research and analyze Advisor Compensation datasets and reporting structures.
- Ensure data quality assurance and accuracy.
- Partner with other WEG team members to validate results and track team needs to determine how to best serve our partners.
- Analyze the performance of different data streams and recommend options to improve results.
- Update and improve existing reporting to increase reliability, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proactively identify additional metrics or new reports to add deeper value.
- Develop models to predict enterprise level effectiveness of Advisor Compensation data offerings.
- Assist with the administration of non-variable comp compensation plans.
- Maintain advisor and internal reporting instruments in CRMA.
- Manage WEG data structures and offerings.
- Become a subject matter expert for WEG data structures and offerings.
- Manage communication and data relationships with advisor compensation peer teams.
- Maintain and update SF CRMA access and security.
- Produce ad-hoc reporting and analysis for advisor compensation and peer teams.
- Engage in process improvement.
- Document Advisor Compensation processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in business; finance, economics or related
- 3 years’ data analysis experience in the financial services industry
- Proven ability to analyze large and complex data sets; can communicate findings in a way that is understandable to all audiences
- Ability to manage strong business relationship with colleagues, peers and business partners
- Able to present outcomes of analytic models in a manner easily understood by all business partners
- Experienced navigating complex data structures
- Must be self-motivated and independent, well-organized, able to work with minimum supervision
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and possessing a high level of integrity
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with statistical / predictive modeling preferred
- Competent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Past Salesforce use preferred
