Posted 5/21/2026full-timeNew York City • New York • 🇺🇸 United StatesSenior💰 $150,000 - $170,000 per yearWebsite
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the design execution across everything we ship. Hold the line on craft and attention to detail across every piece that goes out the door.
- Build real systems with AI, not just use it around the edges. Use AI tools to compress timelines and multiply output, and enable non-designers across the company to create on-brand collateral.
- Design and build core website pages, landing pages, and interactive web experiences using Figma and Webflow. Ship work that looks great and performs.
- Work hand in hand with our events team to create on-brand event experiences including themes, signage, stage design, attendee touchpoints, and the details that make events feel like ours.
- Partner with the VP of Brand and Communications on campaign and video concepting. Take ideas from concept to storyboard to execution with our video team and external partners.
- Create consistency across our brand system. Build and maintain the Figma libraries, design tokens, templates, and documentation that let anyone using the system design with confidence and consistency.
- Help determine when and how to evolve the core brand identity, create assets that bring that evolution to life, and level it up as we scale.
- Partner closely with design agencies, video production partners, freelancers, and other vendors. Brief them well, art direct their work, and make sure our design standards are upheld on every project we hand off.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of design experience, preferably in-house at a brand-led company.
- A portfolio that shows range across campaigns, web, motion or video direction, event design, and brand systems, with clear evidence of craft and conceptual thinking.
- Deep fluency in Figma. You speak the language and have built production work in it for years.
- Proficiency in Claude, Webflow, Jitter, and Adobe Suite.
- A systems mindset. You've built (not just used) component libraries, templates, and design infrastructure that other people rely on.
- AI is a real part of how you work. You have a point of view on what AI accelerates, what it doesn't, and how to integrate it into a team's workflow without losing taste. You see a repetitive task and immediately ask how to automate it, and you stay close to the AI tooling landscape so you can bring new approaches to the team as they emerge.
- Strong art direction instincts. You can concept a campaign, direct photography or video, and brief external partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication. You can explain creative decisions to non-designers and bring people along.
- Comfort owning ambiguous, cross-functional work and shipping at startup pace without sacrificing craft.
