About the role

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for key areas of the Wealth.com platform, translating high-level business goals into a prioritized roadmap and actionable product strategy.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications. You will maintain a healthy backlog and ensure engineering and design teams have what they need to execute efficiently.
  • Lead hypothesis-driven experimentation and conduct user interviews with financial advisors and clients to validate pain points and uncover new opportunities for innovation.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market teams. You will facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure smooth product launches that drive adoption.
  • Define success metrics (KPIs) for your product areas. Analyze usage data and market trends to iterate on features and maximize value for our users.
  • Work closely with technical teams to identify opportunities to integrate Wealth.com’s proprietary AI capabilities into advisor workflows, enhancing efficiency and holistic planning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management or Product Ownership experience, preferably in Fintech, SaaS, or a high-growth startup environment.
  • Deep experience with customer-driven innovation, including running hypothesis-driven experiments and conducting user interviews to validate solutions before building.
  • You don’t just read data; you interpret it. You have a strong ability to draw meaningful insights from metrics to inform prioritization and strategy.
  • Experience or strong interest in AI/ML applications; you understand how to leverage data to create personalized user experiences.
  • Proven ability to transform ambiguous business requirements and market needs into clear, actionable user stories and a cohesive product strategy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the "why" behind decisions to engineers, designers, and executives alike.
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced, unstructured environments. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and have a strong sense of self-ownership.
  • A natural ability to build rapport and drive close partnerships across Design, Engineering, and GTM teams.
  • You are proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented. You treat the product as if it were your own business.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary.
  • Hybrid work arrangement if located in the Phoenix or New York area; otherwise, fully remote. We also meet together in person several times a year.
  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision insurance options, with low-cost premium structures that demonstrate our commitment to offering great value to our employees.
  • 100% company-paid basic life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance.
  • 100% paid parental leave upon eligibility.
  • Company equity managed through Carta.
  • 401k with match and 100% vesting upon hire.
  • Flexible PTO in an environment where taking time off to relax or recharge is supported and encouraged.
  • Take time off for holidays—and yes, your birthday counts too. Celebrate, relax, and recharge without thinking twice.
