About the role

Manage and deliver mobile app projects across Android, iOS, native, and cross-platform single codebase apps
Lead technical strategy, solutioning, and low-level system design to support overall mobile architecture
Drive UX & UI design and enforce Material Design guidelines and mobile UX patterns
Apply best practices to keep apps lean, fast, and highly usable
Implement and oversee use of Android libraries (Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide, Picasso, RxJava, Gson, Arch-components)
Define and promote architectural patterns (especially MVVM) and ensure testability
Manage integrations between mobile apps and third-party/internal systems
Support backend systems hosted on AWS and provide ongoing team support
Bridge Technology, Marketing & Business teams to prioritize and deliver high business-value projects

Overall Experience In Native Mobile Development & Cross Platform Apps Development
Experience In Solutioning & designing a Low-Level System Design to Support overall Architecture
Experience in UX & UI Design; Material Design guidelines, common mobile UX patterns, and anti-patterns
Expertise in Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and the ecosystem
Experience in Applying best practices for keeping apps lean and fast, providing best possible UX
Experience with common Android libraries: Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide, Picasso, RxJava, Gson, Arch-components
Understanding of different architectural patterns (especially MVVM) and their testability
Apps published to Play Store are a plus
Managing integrations between the mobile apps and third-party systems (both internal and external)
Experience in Supporting backend systems hosted in AWS cloud environments
Experience in providing ongoing support for multiple teams in the Mobile space
Experience in Bridging Teams between Technology, Marketing & Business teams to deliver high business value projects
