About the role
- Lead and motivate a team of commercial insurance producers, providing clear guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
- Establish sales targets, goals, and KPIs specific to commercial insurance production
- Monitor individual and team performance, analyze sales data, and provide regular performance updates to leadership
- Oversee the distribution and management of commercial insurance leads to ensure timely assignment and consistent follow up
- Continuously review and refine commercial sales processes, workflows, and tools to drive efficiency and scalability
- Maintain in depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, carrier appetites, underwriting guidelines, and market trends
- Generate accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to support business planning and leadership decision making
- Promote professionalism, responsiveness, and ethical sales practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 plus years of experience in Property and Casualty commercial insurance sales or sales leadership
- Active Florida 2-20 General Lines License required
- Experience with Applied Epic, QuoteRush, or similar commercial quoting platforms preferred
