About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You design and build AI systems from architecture through deployment, focusing on LLM applications, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- You develop scalable backend services and APIs in Python, primarily using FastAPI.
- You put cloud AI services into production, preferably on Microsoft Azure; depending on the project, AWS or GCP may also be used.
- You ensure quality from the start through testing, evaluation, and monitoring.
- You communicate directly with clients, translate business requirements into technical architecture, and make project decisions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
- Completed degree or vocational training in computer science, mathematics, data science, or a related field.
- Strong experience in software development with Python.
- Practical experience deploying machine learning models and large language models (LLMs).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure; AWS or GCP as alternatives.
- Motivated to work independently and flexible in learning new topics and responsibilities.
