About the role
- Write and adapt content across organic and paid social in both English and French.
- Partner with strategists, content creators, designers, and social media managers to bring ideas to life with a strong, consistent brand voice.
- Ensure all copy is accurate, on-brief, and aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Stay tapped into culture, trends, and platform shifts, and know when a moment is right for the brands you work on.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to balance creativity with compliance.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in French and English, with the ability to write clear, engaging, and culturally relevant copy in both.
- 2-4 years of experience in content writing or copywriting, specifically for social media.
- Familiarity with (or eagerness to learn about) regulated industries like lottery, gaming, or alcohol.
- Strong attention to detail. You can spot a typo, nuance, or compliance risk a mile away.
- You know and understand how to craft copy for various paid social formats across channels like Meta, Snapchat and Pinterest.
- A love for culture, social media, and storytelling. You’re the person who knows the meme before it hits the group chat.
