The Senior Account Executive is responsible for the senior-level strategic management of direct marketing fundraising programs for a portfolio of nonprofit organization clients.
Act as the primary point-of-contact for client accounts and guides day-to-day program and team management to deliver direct marketing fundraising programs.
Develop client annual plans in coordination with the Vice President
Prepare and interpret reports/analysis that evaluate client direct marketing fundraising programs with recommendations for improvements in alignment with client goals
Select donor segments for renewal and appeal mailings
Ensure agency reporting is in alignment with client bookkeeping/reporting
Understand and present internal and industry benchmarking reports to clients
Develop year-long and multi-year program strategies aligned with client goals
Oversee implementation of client’s annual plan
Provide guidance on production management and creative process for projects
Prepare, finalize and present strategy decks
Manage a high-functioning team
Draft copy and/or work with copywriters and designers to develop program content in alignment with project and program strategy
Liaise with client contacts to ensure their satisfaction and enhance client relationships
Travel to meet with clients as necessary
Requirements
Minimum years of experience required: 9
In the following areas: Nonprofit fundraising and/or advocacy; direct marketing, including telemarketing, online and/or grassroots organizing
Required experience & knowledge: Direct marketing, especially fundraising and/or advocacy
Experience in strategic and production management of direct marketing projects
Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Demonstrated effective use of digital tools to manage internal and external workflow and communication (including email, chat, zoom, and online workflow tool)
