About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and develop key regional and national customer accounts across your territory
- Deliver against revenue and growth targets through structured account planning
- Build strong, long-term partnerships with customers across DIY, hardware, automotive and industrial channels
- Identify and open new business opportunities aligned to UK commercial strategy
- Lead customer conversations, negotiations and joint business planning
- Translate insights into clear, solution-led sales strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain and wider sales teams

Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in account management, sales or commercial roles, ideally managing key accounts
- Strong track record of delivering growth and building customer relationships
- Experience working across large territories, with strong planning and prioritisation skills
- Confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Commercially driven with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Experience in DIY, hardware, automotive, industrial or FMCG sectors would be beneficial
- Experience working with CRM tools and using data to drive decisions
