About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Draft, review, and negotiate simple to highly complex contracts and other significant documents
  • Focus on supply chain and commercial agreements, including major aerosol filler and tier-one manufacturing contracts
  • Adopt and lead the implementation of the organization’s global contract strategy in the Americas region
  • Coordinate the preparation of training materials and conduct trainings locally
  • Establish, implement, and maintain contract templates, forms, and administration regionally
  • Collaborate with Americas trading bloc leaders and staff on the appropriate use of consistent contract content
  • Assist regional offices with contract analysis, assessment of risk and decision-making
  • Provide appropriate legal perspective to prevent acceptance of undue risk
  • Provide pragmatic, astute advice on contractual risk under a variety of commercial contracts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Law degree obtained from an ABA-accredited law school
  • 5+ years of legal experience post law school
  • Meaningful hands-on exposure to commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation
  • Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Experience with risk-based contract review
  • Exposure to complex, multi-party agreements
  • Familiarity with cross-border transactions and international contracts
  • Public company experience is highly preferred
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and drafting skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple contracts and projects under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • High emotional intelligence and a consultative approach
  • Supply chain contract experience
