About the role
- Help individuals access appropriate employment activities
- Determine appropriate vocational goals
- Assess a participant’s current and potential vocational capacities
- Collaborate with rehabilitation services specialists (RSS) and other RSPs
- Prepare final reports that address the questions in the referral
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related field
- Current designation as a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP) or Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional – Fellow (CVRP‑F) with CVRP‑TSA certification
- Career counsellors registered with the Ordre des conseillers et conseillères d’orientation du Québec
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the direct delivery of vocational rehabilitation services
- Experience conducting medical, psychosocial, or vocational rehabilitation assessments
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental or physical health conditions that create barriers to community life
- Strong computer skills
- In-depth knowledge of local labour markets
- Employment conditional on obtaining a federal security clearance – Reliability Status
- Reliable vehicle and ability to travel
- Bilingual (French / English)
