About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Teach subject-specific classes in person at the Magdeburg location
- Promote the development of course participants’ skills and competencies
- Apply a range of teaching methods to design and deliver classes
- Prepare and develop teaching materials in accordance with the curriculum
- Prepare young people in an international school environment for university study in Germany
- Teach Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (8 teaching units)
- Flexibly coordinate working hours on a full-time or part-time basis
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualification to teach at upper-secondary school level
- State examination in teaching Mathematics, Biology, Physics, or Chemistry
- Ideally, teaching experience in the subjects listed above
- Strong methodological and didactic skills in conveying educational content
- Independent, structured approach to work, with a high degree of personal responsibility
- Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of working as part of a team
- Very good command of German, the language of instruction (C2 level)
