About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Teach subject-specific classes in person at the Magdeburg location
Promote the development of course participants’ skills and competencies
Apply a range of teaching methods to design and deliver classes
Prepare and develop teaching materials in accordance with the curriculum
Prepare young people in an international school environment for university study in Germany
Teach Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (8 teaching units)
Flexibly coordinate working hours on a full-time or part-time basis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualification to teach at upper-secondary school level
State examination in teaching Mathematics, Biology, Physics, or Chemistry
Ideally, teaching experience in the subjects listed above
Strong methodological and didactic skills in conveying educational content
Independent, structured approach to work, with a high degree of personal responsibility
Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of working as part of a team
Very good command of German, the language of instruction (C2 level)
