About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Become the in-house expert on the logic and algorithms of KURSNET and mein NOW
- Manage technical accuracy, keyword density, and listing performance
- Continuously refine course descriptions, metadata, and categorization within both portals to maximize visibility and conversion into qualified leads
- Conduct deep-dive research to identify and map high-intent search terms directly to our course listings
- Track, analyze, and report on listing performance across both platforms
- Scale our reach by managing and expanding our presence on additional platforms including WIS (IHK), Kursfinder, and the regional portals of all federal states
- Use Edtelligent to manage and synchronize listings across regional portals
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure all course copy and portal listings are accurate and keyword-rich
- Leverage AI-powered tools where relevant to streamline keyword research, listing audits, and content refinement
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of hands-on experience in portal management, digital marketing, or a data-driven marketing role
- Experience with KURSNET and/or mein NOW is not required but is a strong advantage; familiarity with Edtelligent is a plus
- Native-level German — essential for managing German portal backends and understanding nuanced search intent
- C1 English (written and spoken) — essential for collaboration with our international team
- Comfortable with data: confident working with performance data and using it to inform decisions
- You view platform management as a data-optimization challenge, not just a data-entry task
- You take pride in producing technically accurate, well-structured, and conversion-optimized listings
- You care about connecting people with opportunities that can genuinely change their lives
- You're eager to develop your skill set and take on greater responsibility over time
