About the role

  • Support trainees retraining as massage therapists/medical bath attendants on their path to a rewarding healthcare profession
  • Combine online instruction in a virtual learning environment with in-person phases at our modern training center in Greifswald
  • Subject-related theoretical teaching in WBS LearnSpace 3D ® (home office)
  • Guide and conduct practical skills exercises, including massage, hydrotherapy, thermotherapy and other physical therapies according to the curriculum (in-person)
  • Apply a variety of teaching methods for engaging, learner-centered instruction
  • Support participants in developing professional competencies
  • Prepare and design lesson-related learning materials according to the curriculum
  • Create practice-oriented case studies, exercise sequences and learning tasks

Requirements

  • Successfully completed training as a physiotherapist or as a massage therapist/medical bath attendant
  • Several years of professional experience in the relevant field
  • Experience in designing and delivering training or instruction
  • Proof of pedagogical aptitude (AEVO / instructor’s certificate)
  • Methodical and didactic skills in conveying teaching content
  • Empathetic and solution-oriented approach to challenging situations, with a good sense of group dynamics
  • Independent, structured working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Excellent command of the language of instruction, German (C2 level)
