About the role

  • As an IT Supporter, you are part of the central Digital Services and Solutions division of the WBS GROUP and enable people to learn independent of location.
  • As a point of contact for our participants, trainers and colleagues, you support the planning, installation and maintenance of the training and administrative network at our locations in the Magdeburg region.
  • Provisioning of IT workstation equipment for employees and customers.
  • Regular optimization of installations (functional, technical, aesthetic).
  • On-site service for network and server components.
  • Collaborative partnership with customers, trainers and colleagues.
  • Close cooperation on central IT projects.

Requirements

  • IT-savvy career changers, trained IT specialists (Fachinformatiker) or comparable qualifications.
  • Basic knowledge of networking and experience with MS Windows systems, as well as solid hardware and software skills.
  • Quick grasp, hands-on mentality, strong communication skills and fluent German (good English skills are an advantage).
  • Driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region (approx. 100 km) — a company car for professional and private use is provided.
